Getting Started
For your scheduled support session, we use RustDesk - an open-source, self-hosted remote desktop solution. Unlike TeamViewer or AnyDesk, your connection goes through our server, not a third party.
Step 1: Download RustDesk
Choose the installer for your operating system:
- Windows:
rustdesk-[version]-x86_64.exe - Mac:
rustdesk-[version].dmg - Linux: AppImage, deb, or rpm available
Step 2: Configure Server Settings
After installing, open RustDesk and click the three dots menu (⋮) → ID/Relay Server.
Enter these settings:
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| ID Server | 62.171.177.100 |
| Relay Server | 62.171.177.100 |
| Key | TnHu0aTi3I4lF5rLvv6qLEJng2O377C+UdOryxWwfFk= |
Click OK to save.
Step 3: Share Your ID
Your RustDesk ID will appear in the main window (a 9-digit number). Share this ID with us when your session begins - we’ll use it to connect.
You can also set a temporary password in Settings → Security for the session.
Why RustDesk?
- Self-hosted: Your connection goes through our server, not a third-party cloud
- Open source: Fully auditable code, no hidden backdoors
- Encrypted: End-to-end encryption for all sessions
- No account required: Just install and connect
